Therapy/Rehab
Physical Therapy is
the use of exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to help develop, restore,
and/or maintain appropriate strength of tissues and alignment of body parts, thereby
allowing people to move correctly and with less pain. Physical Therapy looks not
only at the affected body part but how that disability impacts the rest of the
person's life and functional activity.
Physical Therapy is used to treat
a multitude of orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and chronic pain conditions. Generally, a patient is referred to therapy with a doctor's prescription.
However, in the state of Ohio, direct access allows a physical therapist to treat
without a referral. For reimbursement purposes though, a prescription fulfills
the medical necessity requirement for payment of the sessions.
A patient's
treatment plan is determined through a comprehensive evaluation performed by the
physical therapist. Treatment is generally done 2-3 times per week in
the clinic for at least 4 weeks with the expectation that they are performing
the exercise routine at home as their part of the program.

Our therapists
are highly qualified with many years experience in chronic pain, orthopedics,
hand rehabilitation, in outpatient as well as Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
