| | As
a highly experienced neurosurgeon, Dr. Borden has developed novel, minimally invasive
treatments for spine conditions. Dr. Borden was the Director of the Boston Gamma
Knife Center where he developed particular expertise in tumors involving the optic
nerves and chiasm. While
in Boston, he also developed new surgical treatments for vascular malformations
of the brain and spinal cord. Dr.
Borden specializes in complex reconstructive spine surgery, Gamma
Knife/radiosurgery, brain tumors, skull base surgery, neurovascular surgery and
microsurgery.
He actively participates in the Riverhills motion preserving surgery program. |

early pioneer in the field of internet telemedicine, Dr. Borden has developed
several internet standards and is advisor to NASA's Science Mission Directorate.
